Biography
When working professionals decide to continue their formal education, it can be challenging to find the perfect fit based on interests, cultures, academics and more. So, when Ari Bogotch started navigating the various MBA programs in the Atlanta area, he knew he wanted to find one that not only would help him gain key leadership skills to help advance his career, but also had a strong emphasis on Social Enterprise. His interests lead him to Goizueta where he enrolled in the Evening MBA.
“Emory's emphasis on Social Enterprise and respect for non-traditional students was very important to me. The non-profit scholarship coupled with the Social Enterprise center uniquely addressed my needs at the time of my application.”
Not only has Ari been able to join programs such as Social Enterprise @ Goizueta as a fellow and student liaison, he has been able to get involved with Delta Leadership Coaching fellows, Net Impact and the Goizueta Evening MBA Business Association (GEvBA). “I have had the opportunity to not only learn from well-respected academics, I have been a part of GEvBA working directly with the Program Office and the Career Management Center. I feel staff and faculty have been invested in my success. I have never felt lost in the crowd during my Goizueta experience, making me feel valued as a student and member of the community.”
During his time in the program, Ari transitioned his career from the education non-profit to his current position as a consultant at Guidehouse, which he attributes to the Emory network after he received a referral through connections made at Emory. “The Goizueta network has been the most impactful part of my Goizueta experience. Both current students and alumni alike have been sounding boards, thought-partners and inspirations. I am excited to participate in the alumni-mentor program and continue to lean on the Goizueta community throughout my professional career.”
