Penelope Helm Hometown: Minneapolis, MN
"Goizueta is helping me create the change I want to see in business and society at large." As a double major in environmental science and political science, Penelope Helm knows the importance of combining research and communication skills to create change. She spent a semester interning at Science for Georgia, where she analyzed proposed bills with an environmental impact in the Georgia legislature and used current research to determine the scientific merit of the bills. Penelope hopes that by adding business skills to her science background she will be able to have greater impact as she works toward a more sustainable future. -
Aniyah Daley Hometown: New Rochelle, NY
With an undergraduate degree in philosophy, Aniyah Daley knows how to analyze and critique theories, challenge others to think bigger, and push herself to be a voice for those who are voiceless. Her passion from an early age has been advocating for equity. “However, my passion is just the beginning of a world of change I hope to be able to make. I hope to go even further by combining this passion with business skills,” she shares. Throughout her college career, Aniyah served on many boards, serving as president, vice president, secretary, and other positions. She says the most important thing she learned from these leadership roles was that every voice matters. After she earns her Master in Management, she says, “I will be able to have a positive influence on business and society by empowering those that I lead.” -
Vanessa Edokpa Hometown: Marietta, GA
Vanessa Edokpa is an alum of Georgia State University, where she worked as a Maximizing Access to Research Careers (MARC) Fellow and a Research Assistant. With a strong interest in digital marketing and brand management, Vanessa is focused on merging her academic knowledge with hands-on experience in the industry. She is a member of Emory Women in Business and the Black MBA Association. Outside of her professional life, Vanessa enjoys exploring her creative side through makeup, as well as staying active with her love for travel, fitness, and wellness. -
McKenzi Carter Hometown: Fort Worth, TX
McKenzi Carter joins Goizueta from Tulane University. As she worked with both Tulane and Emory Women's Basketball teams, McKenzi is passionate about understanding the mental aspects of athletic performance and how they impact success both on and off the court. McKenzi hopes to pursue a career in sports psychology after graduation. In her free time, she enjoys playing and watching sports, as well as spending time with friends and family, trying new restaurants, and exploring different places. -
Hailey Hunt Hometown: Atlanta, GA
Hailey Hunt is an Emory University alum who returned for her Master in Management. Her work experience includes the Massachusetts State House and Empirical Spirits. As a member of Graduate Women in Business, Hailey is committed to empowering other women in the business world. Hailey hopes to pursue a career in Project Management and Strategy after graduating. Outside of academics, she enjoys exploring Atlanta, running, and reading. -
Will Kerscher Hometown: Denver, CO
Will Kerscher is an Emory alum who hopes to work in Healthcare after completing his Master in Management. Will is also the President of the MiM Class, showcasing his commitment to fostering growth within the academic community. Outside of Goizueta, he enjoys sports, particularly swimming and cycling, as well as listening to vinyl records, and engaging in philanthropy. -
Alexander Leon Hometown: Las Vegas, NV
After completing his undergraduate studies at Emory, Alexander Leon enrolled in the Master in Management cohort to pursue a career in Healthcare Consulting. He is a CPR Instructor, Spanish Interpreter, and AEMT, showcasing his dedication to the healthcare space. Alexander also serves as the Philanthropy Chair for the MiM Council and is an Advisor for HeartStart Emory, where he plays an active role in promoting health and wellness. Outside of his academics, Alexander enjoys fútbol and is an avid fan of anime. -
Skylar Peterson Hometown: Arlington, VA
Bringing her experiences as a Sociology Research Apprentice and running her own home baking business, Skylar Peterson is an MiM student at Goizueta. Skylar hopes to combine her creative and analytical skills by exploring careers in Human Resources, Marketing, or Public Relations after graduation. She is a member of Graduate Women in Business, Goizueta's Black MBA Association, and the Goizueta Food & Wine Club, all of which reflect her strong community engagement. Outside Goizueta, Skylar has a love for theater, culinary arts, and TV & film. -
Hannah Bodus Hometown: Covington, GA
Hannah Bodus has a deep passion for the Healthcare and Non-Profit industries. As both a former Medical Assistant at Piedmont Hospital and a Research Assistant at the Emory Neurodevelopment Clinic, she contributed to advancing healthcare and research initiatives. Hannah is an active member of the Goizueta Healthcare Association and the Emory Marketing Analytics Club, combining her healthcare passion with data-driven decision-making. Outside of academics, Hannah enjoys expressing herself through poetry, taking part in social activism, and being in nature. -
Lexi Lay Hometown: Milton, GA
Coming to Goizueta from Wake Forest University, Lexi Lay hopes to pursue a career in International Business and Law after the Master in Management Program. In college, she gained invaluable experience through the German Business Internship Program at Wake Forest, as well as through internships with Youphoria and Rise Against Hate. At Goizueta, she is involved in the Mentorship Program, Goizueta Women in Business, and the Goizueta Black Student Association. In her free time, Lexi enjoys running, reading, dancing, karaoke, and spending time with her friends and family.
